Well the last thing you want to do is pretend like the rumor doesn't exist. You also don't want to suggest that you like him. You also don't want to make it real obvious that he likes you. This one is hard because everyone is a little bit different. If I was the guy I'd like to know the truth. If you can in any way find out the truth, then let me know. I will then continue on either a, tell him you don't like him. b, you just want to forget it ever happened.

Grey-I heard from someone that a guy friend of mine might like me. He's really nice but I don't like him like that, and I'm afraid that something like this could ruin our friendship. If he doesn't say anything, is it safe to go on assuming that the rumor was wrong? And if he does say something, how is the best way to say no, so that I don't hurt him?

what else are we supposed to ask for advice on? its not like we're gonna ask him for advice on how to best loose weight... although if he has advice on how to get abs... i'd deff take it... haha, but guys are SOOO confusing [to me at least] unless they're just a friend. and even then its like... WTF are you following me around??? haha. jp.
btw, idk if kathryns gonna see this... but... this happened to me...
my advice: if he doesn't tell you himself that he likes you, then just ignore the rumour. if he likes you, he should be able to find it in himself to ask you out or at least ask how you feel about him. if he doesn't, then don't dwell on a rumour. theres always a chance that someone started the rumour just to piss him [or you] off.

well, id think that ud wanna tell the guy. i think i know who Kathryn is, and if im right, then i know wut the situation is that she's talking about. the guy is a really close friend of hers, so i would think she should just confront him. just b lik "hey, a friend told me u lik me. do u?" i think the only reason she doesn't do that is cuz she's afraid of the answer...idk.
and chris, if u know nething about weight loss, please share ur wisdom. :]
